Softball is home tonight against IVC at 4:30

Kona Ice will be here on March 27 from 11:50-1:00. The truck will be located outside the high school entrance by the office. Please see the flyers for prices.

Quarter 3 report cards are now available through your Teacher Ease account.  If you need help accessing yours, please come to the office.

 This Friday, March 23rd will be a half day with school dismissing at 11:40

Next week's schedule will be changed to the following:

3/27 (Tuesday) - Even block

3/28 (Wednesday) - Odd block

3/29 (Thursday) - Periods 1-8 with an early dismissal of 2:15

 

Spring break will be March 30th-April 3rd.   

 

April 4th,5th,6th will be periods 1-8.

Bragging Rights will be held on Tuesday, March 13 at 6:30pm. Students may sign up at lunch March 5-8, and the first 10 in each class to sign-up AND pay will be selected to play. This year Bragging Rights will be a volleyball tournament among the classes, and the winning team gets to play the teachers. The cost to play is $10, which includes the cost of the t-shirt. You may order a t-shirt even if you do not wish to play, but you must specify that when ordering--It will be $8 for t-shirt only.  

The Scholastic Bowl team should be dismissed at 2:30 today for their regional match at Athens.

If you did not pick up your senior graduation items from Jostens on Friday, please pick them up in the office.

Boys Basketball plays their first sectional game against Brown County tomorrow at Abingdon. There is a fan bus sign up in the office, the bus is $7 and money is due by 9:00 tomorrow morning.

Seniors, Jostens will be here to deliver your graduation orders on Friday, March 2^nd at 7:30am.  If you have not made your final payment, please bring it with you on Friday.

There will be a Prom Committee meeting on Wednesday, February 28th at 2:15 in the Library conference room.

Scholastic Bowl is at home tonight at 5:00

There will be a meeting during GTT in the Theater today for all juniors interested in Work Study for next school year.

Friday we have an early dismissal at 11:40

Anyone interested in helping with Hollis Park volleyball this spring should talk to Mr. Bishop.

We will follow the 1-8 schedule for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday next week.

Boys Basketball plays Williamsfield tomorrow at 5:00 for Little Cheerleader Night. 

Any Students who missed ordering their class ring today can turn their order into the office by February 14th or they can order online at Jostens.com

There will be a meeting during GTT in the Theater on February 15th for all juniors interested in Work Study for next school year.

Congrats to the Cheer Squad on qualifying for State. The competition is Friday and 

Saturday, times to be announced. We will be taking a fan bus, the cost is $12. Must have 30 people sign up by Wednesday at the end of the day.

There will be a meeting on Friday at 7:50 a.m. for all girls interested in playing softball this spring.

Freshmen/JV Boys Basketball plays at Elmwood tonight at 6:00.

Eat at Pizza Ranch in Peoria (4114 Brandywine Drive) on Monday, January 22nd from 5pm-8pm and a portion of your purchase (plus tips) will go to the IBHS Drama Club. Members will be present bussing tables to earn their money. Your support is greatly appreciated!

 

The IBHS Bass Team will be holding a sign up and first meeting January 23rd at 7:00 in the high school library.  Future meetings/skills practice will be held weekly on Tuesdays at 7:00pm in the library then proceeding to the grade school commons for skills practice.  No competition schedule is in place at this time,  other than the IHSA Sectional at Banner Marsh 05/03/2018.  Thanks for including the team in your coverage.  Feel free to contact me by email or  cell (309)241-8155.
