GTT
·       Mr. Hendricks would like to congratulate 7th hour US History on having the highest class average of 95% on the US Constitution test. Please come by GTT today for your reward!
Girls Basketball
·       There will be a meeting for all girls interested in playing basketball during GTT on Thursday in the gym.

Attention Seniors:
·       Jostens will be here to take your graduation orders on Friday October 21st at 7:30. Please bring payment in full or a $60 down payment with your order form on Friday. Any senior who missed the graduation meeting, make sure to stop in the office and pick up your packet.
·       College Greenlight is a great resource for students in search of scholarships.  Sign up for an account and see the 100s of scholarships you can apply for. https://www.collegegreenlight.com/


Juniors
·       If you are interested in being a class officer, and you did not get a chance to sign up last week, please see Ms. Caldwell or Mrs. Craven before Wednesday.  Juniors will vote on class officers during GTT this Thursday.
·       How would you like to have a say in the Prom theme, plan decorations for Grand March, help decide on the menu, and have fun with your classmates? Then take this opportunity to sign-up for being a part of the Prom Committee!
·       Sign-ups are this week and meetings will begin next Thursday, October 27th from 7:30 - 8:00 am. The more people we have in the Prom Committee, the better the Prom. See Mrs. Jackson for details.

Scholarships
·       The Glasford Bank Scholarship is now available in the High School Office.  Applications are due by 2:15 on Wednesday, December 14th.

Soccer Players
·       Please turn your uniforms into the office by Friday.

Tutoring
·       Tutoring will be canceled for tonight due to lack of requests.

Scholastic Bowl
·       Do you like trivia, Jeopardy, or trivial pursuit?  Well you should consider coming to the Illini Bluffs High Scholastic Bowl interest meeting on Tuesday, October 11th.  You will learn about scholastic bowl and have a chance to participate in a practice match.  So if you have a passion for trivia come to Mr. Carr's classroom on Tuesday after school.  The meeting will last until 4:30 PM.

SWAT Applications
·       If you are alcohol, tobacco and other drug free and want to be a positive influence in the lives of others, complete an application from Ms. Jackson and return it by Wednesday.

·       The PSAT/NMSQT will take place on Wednesday, October 19th. The cost is $15.   This test is open to Sophomores and Juniors. Seats are limited, so sign up and pay for the test as soon as possible. The PSAT (Preliminary SAT)/NMSQT (National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test is a test to help prepare students to take the SAT, and is also a scholarship qualifying test for juniors. The SAT is the college admissions exam that all juniors will take this spring.
