Announcements 09/30/16
Attention Seniors:
·       College Greenlight is a great resource for students in search of scholarships.  Sign up for an account and see the 100s of scholarships you can apply for. https://www.collegegreenlight.com/

PSAT
·       The PSAT/NMSQT will take place on Wednesday, October 19th. The cost is $15.   This test is open to Sophomores and Juniors. Seats are limited, so sign up and pay for the test as soon as possible. The PSAT (Preliminary SAT)/NMSQT (National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test is a test to help prepare students to take the SAT, and is also a scholarship qualifying test for juniors. The SAT is the college admissions exam that all juniors will take this spring.

Wrestling
·       If you’re interested in wrestling this year, you need to stop by Mr. Drosopoulos’ room sometime this week. There will be a meeting during GTT on Tuesday, October 4th in his room.

Picture Re-take Day
·       Picture re-take day will be Tuesday, October 4th in the Elementary school gym starting around lunch time.

Announcements 09/29/16
Golf
·       Varsity golf team members should be dismissed at 2:35 for bus at 2:40.

GTT
·       Today during GTT there will be a homecoming pep rally from 11:30-11:45.

PSAT

Golf
·       The golf team should meet the bus outside of Mr. Teel's room.   Players are to be dismissed at 3:00.

·       Wednesday, September 21st 2:15-3:15. Seniors are encouraged to attend but it will be open to all students.

·       Student Leadership Team Applications are available in the High School Office.  Applications are due by September 23rd

·       Juniors can sign-up for the PSAT with Ms. Caldwell.  The cost is $15. Once students pay the $15, they can pick up their Student Guide (Practice test).  Registration will open to Sophomores September 16th.  There will be limited spaces at this point, so Sophomores should speak to Ms. Caldwell early if they are interested in taking the test. 

GTT
·       Sophomore students will have a class meeting with Glasford Bank on Thursday, September 22nd beginning at 11:10 in the theatre.  Students will be called down by the office.

Friday, September 23rd 
·       We will have a school improvement day.  School will be dismissing at 11:40 and will follow the shortened schedule.

Homecoming
·       The sheet for students wishing to bring out of school homecoming dates are available in the office. They must be turned in to the office by September 28th.

Voter registration
·       For eligible students will take place on Thursday, September 15th starting during GTT in the HS Commons.  Students will need 2 forms of identification one of which must be a picture ID.

·       Powderpuff and Boys Volleyball shirts are now on sale! If you are interested in purchasing a shirt, please see the class representative with your money.
