GTT

·       Mr. Hendricks would like to congratulate 7th hour US History on having the highest class average of 95% on the US Constitution test. Please come by GTT today for your reward!

Girls Basketball

·       There will be a meeting for all girls interested in playing basketball during GTT on Thursday in the gym.

Attention Seniors:

·       Jostens will be here to take your graduation orders on Friday October 21^st at 7:30. Please bring payment in full or a $60 down payment with your order form on Friday. Any senior who missed the graduation meeting, make sure to stop in the office and pick up your packet.

Juniors

·       If you are interested in being a class officer, and you did not get a chance to sign up last week, please see Ms. Caldwell or Mrs. Craven before Wednesday.  Juniors will vote on class officers during GTT this Thursday.

·       How would you like to have a say in the Prom theme, plan decorations for Grand March, help decide on the menu, and have fun with your classmates? Then take this opportunity to sign-up for being a part of the Prom Committee!

·       Sign-ups are this week and meetings will begin next Thursday, October 27th from 7:30 - 8:00 am. The more people we have in the Prom Committee, the better the Prom. See Mrs. Jackson for details.

·       The Glasford Bank Scholarship is now available in the High School Office.  Applications are due by 2:15 on Wednesday, December 14th.

Scholastic Bowl

·       Do you like trivia, Jeopardy, or trivial pursuit?  Well you should consider coming to the Illini Bluffs High Scholastic Bowl interest meeting on Tuesday, October 11th.  You will learn about scholastic bowl and have a chance to participate in a practice match.  So if you have a passion for trivia come to Mr. Carr's classroom on Tuesday after school.  The meeting will last until 4:30 PM.

SWAT Applications

·       If you are alcohol, tobacco and other drug free and want to be a positive influence in the lives of others, complete an application from Ms. Jackson and return it by Wednesday.

Seats are limited, so sign up and pay for the test as soon as possible. The PSAT (Preliminary SAT)/NMSQT (National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test is a test to help prepare students to take the SAT, and is also a scholarship qualifying test for juniors. The SAT is the college admissions exam that all juniors will take this spring.

Golf

·       ​Varsity golf team members should be dismissed at 2:35 for bus at 2:40.

GTT

·       Today during GTT there will be a homecoming pep rally from 11:30-11:45.

Golf

·       The golf team should meet the bus outside of Mr. Teel's room.   Players are to be dismissed at 3:00.

 College Application Workshop

·       Wednesday, September 21^st 2:15-3:15. Seniors are encouraged to attend but it will be open to all students.

Student Leadership

·       Student Leadership Team Applications are available in the High School Office.  Applications are due by September 23rd

PSAT

·       Juniors can sign-up for the PSAT with Ms. Caldwell.  The cost is $15. Once students pay the $15, they can pick up their Student Guide (Practice test).  Registration will open to Sophomores September 16th.  There will be limited spaces at this point, so Sophomores should speak to Ms. Caldwell early if they are interested in taking the test. 

GTT

·       Sophomore students will have a class meeting with Glasford Bank on Thursday, September 22nd beginning at 11:10 in the theatre.  Students will be called down by the office.

Friday, September 23rd 

·       We will have a school improvement day.  School will be dismissing at 11:40 and will follow the shortened schedule.

Homecoming

·       The sheet for students wishing to bring out of school homecoming dates are available in the office. They must be turned in to the office by September 28th.

·         Homecoming this year will be on October 1st. Tickets will be on sale during lunch from September 19-29th. Tickets are $13 per ticket.

Powderpuff

·       Powderpuff and Boys Volleyball shirts are now on sale! If you are interested in purchasing a shirt, please see the class representative with your money. 

·       Shirts are $10 ($12 for 2XL and larger). 

·       You MUST purchase a shirt to participate, but you do not have to participate if you buy a shirt. Let your rep know if you will be playing at the time of purchase!
